The SpkrShell™ GS-R is our Garden Series IP44 Rated weather resistant housing but specifically designed for Sonos™ Roam outdoor rated wireless streaming powered speaker. Now you can permanently install Roam and Roam2 outside, no need to bring it in for a charge, its just out there and ready to use all the time!

With the Terrapin SpkrShell GS-R for Roam there is no need for moving speakers to and from your house when you need it outside, and with the plug and play ease of GS-R you can forgo expensive hard to install traditional speaker systems. Install multiple GS-R units around your seating areas or nearby anywhere you want good background music.

Purpose built just for Sonos Roam and includes a industrial grade power transformer to provide plenty of proper always-on 5V power to your speaker. And our sleek passive ventilation design insures the speaker will run as cool as possible. The  impact resistant enclosure is tuned and sound treated to improve output and bass response, and includes a unique conical sound port for 360 degree sound dispersion.

The SS-GS-R builds on the years of experience we gathered from our ultra-popular GS-UE model, our most universal version for larger speakers.
