Wireless Access Points and other small electronics are now just a fact of life around the home, office, or shop... they are everywhere. But there are very few, if any, easy and affordable options to make them blend into the rooms aesthetic... until now. Meet the CW1-APMT from Terrapin!

This universal enclosure works in-ceiling or in-wall, quickly flush mount any access point or small device! You can really install just about any PoE device, any thing you want to hide, like automation or environmental sensors. It solves many problems with a universal 'one-size-fits-all' ceiling mount kit that completely hides all of the best selling access points, automation components, network switch points, or sensors on the market. Which is great news for when you eventually have to upgrade or replace one of those devices, and the new version is different shape or size.

Quick Installation thanks to the unique patent-pending ratchet strap system! It adapts to hold virtually any devices, from thin to thick. Simply turn a dial to tighten, connect all power and data cables and the AP or other devices will be held solidly in place . Need a more secure mounting, you can also attach your devices mounting plate directly to the optional removable plate inside our enclosure. Either way its super simple and flexible, and once installed simply snap on the magnetic cover flush to the ceiling. Paint the cover to match the ceiling and enjoy!

Better Wi-Fi Performance, by keeping the AP as high up in the room as possible, without sitting too deep into the ceiling, we can optimize the coverage area of the AP. And it minimizes attenuation with its all plastic shell allowing for optimal signal transmission in all directions.

Devices and other mounting hardware shown is for demonstration purposes only, these parts are not included with enclosure.

Fits most any Access Points, up to the largest APs like the Ruckus R720, and down to some of the smallest components like the Sonos Boost Extender! Compatible with device(s) having dimensions up to approximately 8-3/4" x 8-3/4" x 2-1/2"

Supports multiple devices. Device mounting plates can be screwed to enclosure with proper hardware (sold separately).
