You won't find a better, simpler to install, and quality acoustic dampening cover. This product helps you better meet both those noise and fire-safety requirements for virtually any ceiling device or fixture. So long as your device fits within the dimensions of the cover as specified and rated, you should be good to go. It is unique in that it can be installed retrofit, and requires no attachments or sealants to be used in most applications.

These covers comply with or exceed BSI BS EN ISO 140-3 / BS 2750-3 acoustic standards for acoustic control. And with the increasing number of cities imposing tighter restrictions on fire-ratings these are UL Classified and Intertek/ETL certified (ASTM E119) 1 hour fire-rated. This unique intumescent material expands 5 times of its original thickness, closing the vent holes and preventing flame spread. For use in most floor/ceiling assemblies.

These work with lights, speakers, and other common ceiling penetrations or any device you want to control the sound transfer of. Always refer to your local authority before purchasing to insure compliance, specifically for fireproofing.
