CC1-A Active Architectural Speaker | Sonos Built-in

The Terrapin CC1-A architectural speaker for in-ceiling or in-wall use is compatible with the ultra-popular SONOS® wireless audio system. Our CC1 series of active speakers are plug n play ready to work natively with your Sonos wireless audio system. And can be powered via standard AC electrical hard-wiring, or optionally over network via popular PoE+. Both allow for wired or wireless connectivity for data.

The CC1 architectural in-ceiling speaker with Sonos built-in provides a great quick and easy BGM audio option for small businesses, or a sleek home audio deployment. You get all the native streaming and control that Sonos offers, but with a stealthy design that blends in perfectly.

Our architectural speaker is designed to fit most any wall space with its super compact design and multiple magnetically attached grille options. Go square grille for in-wall use or round for traditional in-ceiling look, or mix it up to match your home aesthetic. It's ready for use in most any indoor or protected environment.

The super efficient Sonos module and robust power supply drive a 3" woofer and 1" tweeter, offering clear highs and mids. While the heavy shell design provides great cabinet resilience, and combined with the ported design, provides smooth bass response down to 65 hz. With a coaxial design the speaker has a wide dispersion angle of 120 degrees for wide coverage. Easily pair with other Sonos speakers to create a music zone, or add to a soundbar for surrounds, and even add a Sub for increased fidelity.

Available for purchase with either hardwire 100-240v power option, or powered by network PoE+. Wired and Wireless network for data is standard on both version.
