CC1-T Active Drop-Tile Speakers | Sonos Built-in

The Terrapin CC1-P Drop-Tile speaker is a 1x2' custom drop-in speaker that is compatible with the ultra-popular SONOS® wireless audio system. Our CC1 series of active speakers are plug n play ready to work natively with your Sonos wireless audio system. And can be powered via standard AC electrical hard-wiring, or optionally over network via popular PoE+. Both allow for wired or wireless connectivity for data.

The CC1 Drop-Tile with Sonos built-in provides a great BGM audio option for small businesses, where ease of install and use is key. You get all the native streaming and control that Sonos offers, but with a stealthy design that blends in perfectly.

Tile replacement speakers work great with all 2' or wider drop-ceilings grids, and are popular with offices and small shops. They will work equally well in a home too though, if your homes design calls for this type of speaker style. A steel backcan provides Plenum compliance, passive cooling, and an included 24" T-Bar for adapting any grid. It's ready for use in most any indoor environment.

The super efficient Sonos module and robust power supply drive a 3" woofer and 1" tweeter, offering clear highs and mids. While the heavy shell design provides great cabinet resilience, and combined with the ported design, provides smooth bass response down to 65 hz. With a coaxial design the speaker has a wide dispersion angle of 100 degrees for wide coverage. Easily pair with other Sonos speakers to create a zone, and even add a Sub for increased fidelity.

Available for purchase with either 100-240v power option, or powered by network PoE+. Comes in White or Off-White option. Wired and Wireless network for data is standard on both version.

Optionally we offer premium Gripple brand 10' adjustable wire hangers, so you can quickly and easily secure your speaker tile to structure.
