Design for ceiling use, these can also work in some walls as well. Works with Sonos ONE, Play:1, Era 100... as well as Denon Home, and now even Sonos ROAM. And we offer multiple grill shapes and colors to suite your needs.
Plus, by using native speakers that are alreasy designed for your smart audio system, this allows you to keep the speakers close by but hidden, to take advantage of the bonding function of the compatible soundbars and subwoofers, that you may lose when using an Amp and standard speakers.

Terrapin... Solving The Problems
Terrapin evolved from trying to solve critical issues we all face when looking to install technologies - product designs that work with the building designs, not going over the budget, and turn-around time. As audio-video integration veterans ourselves, we've heard directly from homeowners and builders before and after installations. And we found there were some common things they wish they could have done with a system. Specifically regarding the wireless products on the market.
While wireless systems have opened up options we've never had before, designs and options for those products can be very limited. So we tend to get stuck with just a simple bookshelf or soundbar typed design. There just are not many options to HIDE those Bulk WiFi speakers, short of installing even more expensive amps and specialty wiring in your walls and ceiling.
Now we are not saying that other professionally wired and installed Network or AV options aren't good, in fact they very well may be the best option for your project. But, if for some reason that best option doesn't fit your needs, we wanted to offer users quality alternatives.
